The '''Virtual Library East and South-East Asia - CrossAsia -''' is an internet portal offering centralized and cost-free access to printed and electronic resources concerning East Asian and South-East Asian studies to individuals affiliated to a German institution which is part of the "Blauer Leihverkehr".<ref>http://crossasia.org/en/databases/registrierung.html</ref> CrossAsia has been created and is being supported and supervised by the East Asia Department of the [[Berlin State Library]] being the responsible library within the special subject fields programme 6,25 of the [[Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft|German Research Foundation]] (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft). Information is presented as well in Latin as in East Asian script.
