It was launched in [[1988 in music\|1988]], but it was shut down in [[1990 in music\|1990]], shortly after its parent was purchased by [[PolyGram Records]] Vendetta Records was started in the mid 90's by former No Reason Drummer Beau Branson and former District 9 Bassist Steve LeFever. The two started the label in hopes of becoming a big lable on the punk music seen. In 2002 the two parted ways over business decisions. Beau became a music promoter, Beau promoted bands such as Everclear, Go Go's, Howard Stern's Fred Norris and King Norris, Brenda Lee, Sublime and others.
