Arguably false, but perhaps just a simplification. It uses the VB6 dll,s if they are in memory, or an equivilant set of runtime dlls if the vb6 dlls are not in memory. That is, the virtual machine is hosted by Windows, and the program always runs the same way a non-native mode vb6 program runs.
