And according to California Birth Index, he was born in Los Angeles County. So that means that Long Beach is in Los Angeles County and Cypress is in Orange County. Lengthening courses does not remove the advantage from long hitters. Quite obviously so, it givens them MORE of an advantage. Just common sense that a course that plays to your strength will be better for you. And obviously, a course where the shorter hitters are hitting a 6 iron on their second shot while the longer hitters hit 8 iron is better for them than a longer course where they are hitting a 3 iron to their opponents 6 iron. MUCH bigger difference in accuracy/control between a 3 and 6 iron and a 6 and 8 iron. The term "Tiger proofing" was made up by race baiters out of sheer ignorance. Courses desperately WANTED Tiger to play their tournaments. Since it obviously meant more fans and more money. And since Tiger always played a very reduced schedule, basically playing the majors, the Players and WGCs and then whatever tournament were sponsored by companies he had deals with, tournaments bent over backwards to make their course MORE enticing to Tiger. And THAT is why they lengthened their courses. To make it BETTER for Tiger. Because again, plain old common sense should tell you that longer courses favor longer hitters, just as courses with narrow fairways and deep rough favor more accurate hitters. Having so many fractions is confusing, so I have suggested the wording above. Noting the Chinese and Native American ancestry through Earl Woods is so far undocumented. The sources available suggest Kultida Woods is 1/2 Thai, 1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Caucasian (Dutch). This confirms Tiger Woods is 1/4 Thai, 1/4 Caucasian (1/4 Kultida and 1/4 Earl), but given Earl's Chinese ancestry is undetermined Tiger's is undetermined (minimum 1/8 through Kultida).
