Cook was drafted by {{AFL Ade}} with pick 25 in the [[2020 AFL draft]]. He made his debut in round 21 2021 against {{AFL PA}} and played the final three games of the season. Cook kicked a crucial goal in Adelaide's comeback [[Showdown_(AFL)#Round_3,_2022|Showdown]] win against {{AFL PA}} in [[2022 AFL season|2022]]. Cook did not breakout until [[2024 Adelaide Football Club season|2024]], when he kicked a career-high three goals against {{AFL NM}} at [[Bellerive Oval]].
