Welcome to episode 28 of the Element 270 podcast!

In this episode Giles, Peter and Reese take a moment to discuss the recent survey we put out about the podcast and blog. We talk about the responses, and what we hope to do with the podcast, blog and other E270 media into the future.

If you took the time to respond to our survey, a very big and heartfelt thank you! We really appreciated all the responses, as it helped us shape our plan for where we want to go.

Some of you mentioned contributing, either to the blog or the podcast, and we would absolutely love to have our listeners contribute. As far as we’re concerned Element 270 is more about celebrating the hobby surrounding the games we love more than it is a chance for just us three to talk – so if you do have something to share – whether written or audio, please feel free to email us at [email protected]

It’s been a little while since the last episode of the Element 270 podcast has been uploaded, and while we’re working to get the next episode out soon, we have also been thinking about how we can improve. We’ve created a survey to get your opinions on what we can do to make our work better, and to align it more closely with what the listeners, watchers and readers of Element 270 want.

Feed Update for the Podcast

A big hello to all our listeners!  Soon we will be switching our host over, and in the lead up we have changed our RSS feed.

The new feed can be accessed here: http://feeds.feedburner.com/Element270 (which you can also find by following the link in the sidebar to the right).

We will keep the old feed alive for another month or two before shifting, but please make sure you update!  We’ll be mentioning this in upcoming episodes as well.

Hopefully the shift will mean less pressure on us in terms of storage, and a lower cost (hosting a podcast isn’t as cheap as we’d like sadly! 😀 ).

In this episode Giles, Peter and Reese are joined by special guests Neil Fawcett and Derek Sinclair to talk about the Armoured theatre in Dystopian Wars.

We talk tanks, templates and tactics in this episode, and as well as covering how the land game has changed, we also look at how it’s different from the Naval game, and some things to keep an eye open for in the future.

We apologise for the sound quality at times, Skype is a fickle mistress, but we hope what we have is reasonable enough to enjoy!  I must also apologise for the lateness of the episode, while it’s been gathering digital dust on my harddrive, I’ve had work and other business to attend to – my apologies!
