Oh I love your stories and insight!
I feel the same about your posts, Anne. Before I started reading your blog, India was just another space on the map. Now, it’s a place that of real interest on my part. Thank you.
That makes me so happy. Thank you for reading and sharing!

What an interesting picture and comment about being photographers of eagles. Thanks for sharing this. And I’m really touched by the comment from Don Ostertag above. Very moving.

Many thanks for your continued support. Don has had a very interesting life and is one of the best story tellers on WordPress !
Re
Good to get a “like” from you. Thanks
Thanks Don. A calm, measured voice full of sense and feeling is needed in such terrible times. Thom.
Wanted you to know about our visit to Cambridge to Celebrate George’s Life with the completed and corrected stone raised after 70+ years!
Such a precious time for you and such a memory for the youngsters – a real teaching experience of the sacrifices that were paid to keep America free. Thank you for sending me the video, Anne. And thank you on behalf of the 82nd in correcting the stone of One of Our Finest. He gave the ultimate and he is still remembered by his family even after all these. And as a former member of your 82nd Airborne, I salute you, George
Thank you JC and may you and yours have a Merry Christmas.
Fun intro.
Glad you liked it. Hope you read more of the blog and have more fun.
I found Don Ostertag: Off Stage very educational.
Hello! Someone in my Myspace group shared this website with us so I came to take a look.
I’m definitely enjoying the information. I’m book-marking and
will be tweeting this to my followers! Terrific blog and terrific style and design.
Terrific stuff!
Thank you, John.
glad I found you, you have had a wonderful full life that has left you with so much material to write from. glad you are doing so, interesting reads
Thank You my friend. These are indeed ‘interesting times’. With all the massive turmoil – personal, natural, and manmade, I do believe we are entering a unique Spiritual moment.
I have missed your posts, but take care of yourself and your family. That is the most important thing.
I deleted your harmless comment about my health on my blog that was the target for the porn to spring from 2 days ago and since then I have received none of thee porn email. Maybe that will help. I should have done it before but didn’t think about it. That still doesn’t get WP off the hook. True, they did prevent the comments from appearing on my blog but they never stopped them from our emails.
Don,
Thank You. Very sorry has happened to you. I will consider the same actions with offending emails to my posts. The most annoying feature of all this is the inaction of WP to my complaint. This is undoubtedly happening to many of us – their customers.
Now I haven’t received one single e-mails since Tuesday from any of the blogs I follow. How about you?
Don,
I followed your advice about deleting any comments from my archive that looked suspicious and I haven’t received any since then either. Nice going!!
I did hope to resolve this thing myself because I had little confidence in WP doing anything. And they seemed (incredibly) to know nothing about it. But it can’t be only happening to you and me so that is very puzzling. Go figure?
Let me know if you are receiving emails on new posts by bloggers you follow.
NO. I haven’t received any emails to my last 2 posts. That’s not unusual though.
I think things will be ok now. Should be. The offending emails were entering due to an email that I responded to which was my still in my Comments archive.
Don … ive noticed im not getting any comments now either. Nor are my Posts appearing in my email InBox? This is not good. I can’t even be sure now that people are getting my Posts. ??? I’ve got to fix this pronto. All this has been a product of those malignant emails we’ve getting I’m sure. They are still coming but go into my spam filter. They are sent by Bots I’m and will not stop.
Go into settings and enable Browser notifications. It’s not email but it works just as good.
Nothing seems to work. I’m sure it’s something simple that can readily be fixed, but I can’t find it. I’ll the kid to to look at it. He’s a Tech.
Thank you! Great stuff to read!
Hi. I hope you are well, and still monitoring this site. The show you worked where Joan Rivers yelled “And she’s dead!” about Marylin Monroe… is that recorded/available online somewhere? Or do you remember the context? Your website is the only match I’ve found while searching for it. Thanks for anything you might remember.
I really don’t remember her cut up on MM before she screamed she’s dead. There’s quite a lot of Rivers on U Tube. Maybe you can find it there.
That’s okay. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Have a good day!
Hi Don! Haven’t heard from you in a while. Just checking in to see if you’re okay. How are you doing? GP says Hi, too. Please keep in touch.
Don , you did a lot of backstage. It was fascinating. Plus a kiss from Grace on your pate. What more can you glisten it? The show is not open until the back’s ready!
She kissed me on the cheek. My hat was on as always so my pate was covered.
WISE MOVE WITH YOUR HAT’S POSITION AND LOVELY GRACE’S TOO….TOM
Almost like being there as the curtain came up! All the way back to Greece! Most held the audience!
SHE WAS A PRINCESS IN GREECE THEN, WASN’T SHE…HAVING MARRIED THE PRINCE? A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN SHE WAS.
She, Grace Kelly, was Princess of Monaco, never Greece.
Right you are, as my memory fades!
You really had a complex career and good
A lot of fun and fond memories, Tom
Whatever your task you did your best. More can not be asked of us.
Tell that to your wife,
Tom
To prep for my wife, I might be a bit less perfect! But I’m still working on it…. Hey! It does take time when perfection is our goal.
read these all back awhile ago. You are a man of many talents!
Many talents including being a horse whisperer.
I was a dog whisperer, but sadly she is now gone. She knew the ups and downs, the fields and our fireplace….and best of all, my lap. We felt far better together there than anywhere, save the hunt with my dear Duchess and the pheasant I thought was gone that day…..but when I got to the car, there did Duchess lie under her paws and my pheasant that she had brought. What a team…..Tom
Sweet
No one loves you like your dog!
Love everything I have read since finding you a day or so ago! I really love old Hollywood Cary Grant , Mickey Rooney, Bette Davis ect. Any stories or experiences with the golden era I woul Love to read! Thank you for sharing!
Valerie Woody
Val, I pretty much confine my posts to people I have actually worked. If you go into my Stagehand section you might find some posts of people that interest you, like Princess Grace Kelly, Bob Hope and Red Skeleton, Paul Newman, Frank Sinatra, Richard, Robin Williams . Also posts about working on the films ‘Heart Break Kid’ and ‘Ice Castles’. Both the originals. And many posts on my touring with Leonard Nimoy.
I would like to read your posts but I can’t get any of them up.
I’m sorry I’m old. I was just saying I love all the things I have read since finding your blog. I especially would love to hear any stories of old Hollywood stars I love that era, Cary grant, ect. Tha k you for sharing.
Sorry you are old? Valery, I am 86. Bet that’s a lot older than you. Bout 30 years older?
I’m 57 an laid up with a bad knee. Not very Tech savvy. I feel old… Lol my Father is 83! Slow but sharp like you! Merry Christmas!
Val
I got bad knees also, Val. And I am pretty crippled after a bad fall. I haven’t been out of the house in almost a year.
