artoshaughnessy Rainbows upon Rainbows. 🌈💗Second graders are weaving wonders! We first read Sky Color to get inspired to paint the sky (and partially because I was, and currently am, out of neon blue). Students were self sufficient making their color choices once they warped their own looms—no tape or glue required! I love that they embraced that choice and I think they sure did too. Project was inspired by and morphed from an excellent line of teachers/artists, Circular Weaving Tutorial, Makerspace Design, Rainbow Picnic, Fairy Night, Weaving For Kids, Box Creative, Art Camp, E Mc2, Elementary Art Projects
