Unfortunately for us, Australia isn’t entirely populated just by friendly locals, cool kangaroos, and cute koalas. The Land Down Under sometimes seems like the most dangerous country on the entire planet and should be renamed the Land of Nope.

The Australian Huntsman spider is a hunter and roams its habitat in search of food. They often make our homes their home, and do a wonderful job of managing insects that come near it. They are often found living under the bark of Eucalyptus trees and can be found at night with a bright torch - their eyes reflect the torch light when it hits them.

Everything is bigger in Texas, even the spiderwebs. More than just creepy, a massive spider web in Texas was also a surprising revelation for many arachnologists, people who study spiders.

In 2016, when Leslie Anne Schmidt and her partner went to a park in Australia to catch a Pokemon, they found it covered in spiderwebs. The spiders fled flooded areas following a recent heavy downpour to a higher ground.
