This Responsive Reader is designed to help your students learn to associate q with u. On each page there is a q that needs to find a u in order to do something particular (for example: announce the queen; measure a quart; begin his quest, etc.). It is your students job to locate the hidden u on each pageit is hidden in the drawing. They will then glue in the u letter tile to complete the word. On the final page, q has found u (thanks to YOU!) and is ready to celebrate. Your students will help them quit by writing the q with the u.
