This listing is for a sterling silver and undrilled rock crystal quartz statement necklace, inspired by pools of light styles of the Victorian Era. Each pendant on this luxurious graduated necklace is handmade from sterling silver materials and set with a genuine, natural and watery clear quartz crystal ball. The spheres in this necklace measure from 8mm to 12mm in diameter with the bezel frame bringing the overall widths to 11mm-15mm, approximately. After setting each stone, I bring the frame to a high glossy shine, and affix them to an 18-inch, 24-inch or 30-inch sterling silver rolo chain. The lore behind the pools of light jewelry went that each glowing crystal ball contained a tiny dancing spirit trapped inside. It was of paramount importance, therefore, that the rock crystal spheres be undrilled. Aside from this bit of Victorian whimsy, quartz is a highly dynamic material - acting as natural lens, marked by piezoelectric qualities, and carrying great prevalence in metaphysical circles. This has become one of my guilty pleasures. I throw it on on my way out the door (I've been wearing the 30-inch version) - it is classic, elegant, subtle, and it will match anything. I find myself constantly touching the smooth, glassy spheres. It has the most pleasant weight, temperature and texture. Their heft really makes them dance on the chain as you walk.
