They are sanded by hand to a smooth finish and covered in food-safe wood oil, which protects them from moisture and brings out the natural wood grain. The cord is 1mm thick nylon which is water resistant and very long lasting. -----CARE---- You can wear our bracelets during daily activities like washing the dishes, exercising or taking a shower, but if you plan to go swimming or be in water for extended periods of time, we suggest taking the bracelet off.
