I purchased this vintage ring over 30 years ago at a local antique store that has long since closed. I fell in love with the vintage mounting and the beautiful light green color stone. Unlike most of my rings that I have listed, I actually wore this ring on a somewhat regular basis. The green stone was listed as peridot. It measures 3/8" x 5/16" and is emerald cut. The band measures 1/16" at bottom and is marked 10k. The ring is size 7 (sorry, when I listed this ring, I listed the size in the i Antique 14k Stamped Emerald Ring, Collectible Green 14k Stamped Jewelry, Green Birthstone Rings For Formal Occasions, Formal Emerald Cut Green Topaz Ring, Antique Green Ring With 17 Jewels, Antique Green Jewelry Stamped 14k, Antique Green 14k Stamped Jewelry, Antique Hallmarked Emerald Ring, Classic Green Topaz Ring Gift

The ring is size 7 (sorry, when I listed this ring, I listed the size in the item details section but didn't have it listed here in the written description). From the day of my purchase, the ring sounds like the gemstone is loose but it is secure in the mounting. The prongs are secure with less than normal vintage wear. It makes a sound as though it is loose which leads me to believe the stone may be a replacement of the original - unknown to me because the ring is as I purchased it 30+ years ago. If you look closely at the ring photos, there appears to be a line/crack on the band. I noticed a couple of those - they are not cracks. I don't know what they are; perhaps someone tested for gold content - I just don't know. Perhaps they were caused when the original stone was replaced with the peridot. Again, I don't know because the ring is in the same condition as when I purchased well over 30 years ago. Do not be deterred by my description. The stone is secure in the mounting and the mounting has no flaws/damage. It is a lovely vintage ring and I believe you will be pleased to add it to your collection.
