Touch of Faete

A mindless villain and godlike being
Meet Anord, the godlike villain of the Bradaís Pledge series. He hails from a dark dimension and is the mastermind behind the creation of the bradaís. Hundreds of years ago Anord was sympathetic to the fae and even welcomed into one of their taighs (homes). But he was merely pretending to gain their trust. When the fae saw through his deception and cast him out of their realm, Anord retaliated by creating the bradaís, immortal beings designed to destroy the fae. Why is he so important in the Bradaís Pledge series? Our main character, Titus Doyle, is one of Anord’s creations. Titus fights against the dark hold his creator has over him, but at the start of the series, he’s still somewhat trapped under Anord’s control
A magical dimension
Tír D’aois, the mystical realm of the fae, is one of two hidden dimensions tied to Earth. Ryanne, the human heroine of Bradaís Pledge, visits this realm without her family knowing, but she's kept in the dark about its dangers. The hawthorn tree, the heart of fae power, is coveted by Anord, a godlike being who created the bradaís—immortal pirates with one goal: destroy the fae. Ryanne’s sheltered world unravels after a bradaí, who she thought was just a date, tries to kidnap her.

itus was created for one purpose: mindless evil. A bradai, forged by a god-like entity, he was meant to serve without question. But something went wrong. Titus was cursed with a shadow of human emotion—feelings he considers a burden, yet secretly craves for the sense of fulfillment they promise.
Touch of Faete, a fantasy contemporary adventure

When bradaí Titus Doyle takes her, Ryanne must face the truth of her power or lose it forever. Titus’s instincts tell him to eliminate fae and collect gold. Yet something deep inside muddles the darkness and yearns for more. Ryanne and Titus are fated to change the destiny of both races, whether that means destruction or salvation depends on their choices.
Touch of Faete, a fantasy contemporary adventure
The Bradaís Pledge is a fantasy romance that weaves between our contemporary world and a magical fae realm. But what’s it really about? A young nurse living an ordinary life... except for one small detail—she has a pixie guardian only she can see: she’s a seer, touched by the fae. While her visits to the fae world are thrilling, they make her dating life... complicated. Everything changes when a mysterious man enters her life—a man who doesn't trigger her visions. His arrival sets off a whirlwind of events. Eventually, she embarks on a quest that will test her limits, reveal her true strength, and reshape her destiny. Narrated in dual POV, you’ll get inside both her mind and his. Also available in Spanish as La Sombra del Bradai
A human seer
On the surface, Ryanne seems like an ordinary young woman, but there’s nothing ordinary about her. She’s haunted by visions she doesn’t yet understand—visions tied to a latent fae power within her, a power she will learn to harness as the series unfolds. Ryanne’s strength doesn’t come from physical power. It’s her determination, her willingness to recognize her own limitations, and her drive to overcome them that make her stand out. She’s stubborn, fiercely so, and she’s ready to do whatever it takes to help her fae mentors—even if that means dating their sworn enemy.
