Both these roses were pressed at the same time almost three weeks ago. The one on the left is pressed whole or complete, and the one on the right was deconstructed then reconstructed once pressed. The deconstructed rose is already dry and the petals have more definition, whereas the complete rose needs longer in the press. And no, it's nothing to do with me 🫶🏽 To reconstruct roses I like to start with 5 big petals. Applying a bit of glue on the right edge, to place another petal on top, joining the centres until you get a circle. For the next rows, choose smaller petals (smaller for every row) and apply the glue where the petal joins the centre and glue it down going in circles. Make as many rows as you want. I normally do 5, 4, 3 and 2 petals, but you can try different ways. I like adding the dried pistils on the centre too. But that's personal.
