Musical greeting cards

My soon to be 15-year-old niece exchanges letters with a friend that moved out of state so I decided to make her some notecards for her birthday.

Happy New Year to you all! As most of my cards are sold as a fund raiser for my choir and purchased by its members, the purchasers often like to have cards with a musical link or theme! Here is one such, for the CAS Challenge at Happy Little Stampers I added a little extra texture to the front panel with an embossing plate from Papertrey Ink, over which I added a strip of Tim Holtz Washi Tape. Last week, I saw the challenge at CAS-ual Friday through the blog of the very talented fellow New Zealander Shona Chambers, who I follow. I've got a bit of a thing for music themed challenges, given my long stint as a music-mother.
