If you paint your staircase black (any new colour) regardless of the technique its likely to chip or get scuffed over time. If you haven’t started your staircase project and are looking to create a similar vibe to me then consider this before you start 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 1: Lightly sanding before you start 2: Cleaning with sugar soap to remove all dirt and scum 3: Priming the stairs with a dark primer first. 4: Apply 2 coats of paint 5: Add a clear sealer for extra protection (@makeitrustoleum does a good one) 5: Take your time for a lasting finish.
