This seminar aimed to explore ways to revitalize Korea's offshore wind power industry. Approximately 120 high-ranking officials from 54 domestic and international organizations, including Dr. Johannes Bussmann, Chairman of TÜV SÜD AG, Man-Seop Lee, Senior President of Hyosung Heavy Industries, and Yang Jun, General Manager of Shanghai Electric Wind Power, were in attendance. Seven industry experts shared their latest insights with offshore wind professionals. Topics included Suggestions to Revitalize Offshore Wind Power in South Korea, Introduction to Next-Generation Offshore Wind Turbines, Challenges and Solutions in Developing Offshore Wind Farms in South Korea, Ensuring Cost-Effectiveness of Substructures for Korean Seabed Conditions, Collaboration Strategies to Enhance Korea's Offshore Wind EPC Competitiveness, Conditions and Measures for Utilizing Overseas Vessel and Equipment. 🎉 On September 5, 2024, TÜV SÜD Korea successfully celebrated its 30th anniversary at ‘THE PLAZA Seoul’, located in Jung-gu, Seoul! 🎊 This meaningful event was a time to reflect on the accomplishments of the past 30 years and share the vision for the future. The event featured a variety of programs, including traditional Korean games, team-building activities, a traditional samulnori performance, and a raffle filled with exciting rewards.🎊 🤝 The ceremony began with congratulatory video messages from TÜV SÜD global leaders, followed by speeches from Georg Wilfried Schmidt, the German Ambassador to Korea, Dr. Johannes Bussmann, Chairman of TÜV SÜD AG, and Dirk von Wahl, CEO of TÜV SÜD North Asia. 🎉 On August 23rd, TÜV SÜD and Dt&CRO hosted the '2024 Medical Device Regulatory Symposium.' 🎉 The event took place at the IFC Forum, with approximately 100 professionals from the medical device industry in attendance. This symposium was organized to provide guidance for Korean medical device manufacturers aiming to enter the European market, in light of the recent changes in regulations from MDD to the more stringent EU MDR requirements. Experts provided information on the overall changes in the MDR Process, specific requirements for MDR, and clinical trial strategies for obtaining CE MDRfor Korean medical device companies.
