Welcome

With traditional edge tools, I carve green logs and branches into bowls, spoons, and containers. I also design and carve lettered inscriptions, among other things. The exploration continues to be a joy.

I teach classes and write. My articles can be found in Fine Woodworking Magazine and I have written a blog regularly since 2015. Well over 500 posts are available there. If you’re interested in purchasing something I’ve made, I announce newly finished pieces through my blog. I also have plans and video courses available.
