Yellow gold hand made, scroll style brooch with hand engraved and hand chased design, approximately 14k in excellent condition. With specially designed carrying case made of wood with delicate hinges in good condition. The brooch is set with a 49.00mm long by 41.50mm wide hand carved oval shaped shell Cameo of an orange-brown base color with a light cream-white carving. The carving is Roman design, of a standing woman with child and an elderly gentleman walking with a cane, and a carved steepled building. The carving is of fine design, and a signed piece. It looks beautiful worn on a dress or sweater or displayed in a glass case. There are two appraisals available.
