There are so many different types of salt, but this is a collection of the most used and easily available salts in Witchcraft. In general, salt has the ability to absorb negative energy from its surround environment and hold onto it. This means it's particularly good as a cleanser and to purify any area of negative energy. Many Witches use salt to create boundaries in spells and rituals by using it to draw a protective circle around them. It's also good for home protection.
