Mica | Willow Place Farm on Instagram: "Dreaming of flawless, smooth floor transitions?!

f you’re renovating or building from the bottom up, consider this simple solution for your floors with this sleek transition option!✨

When we built our house last year this was a must have item for me! I hated tripping on those old thick transition strips! At first my builder wasn’t sure it could be done, but they figured it out and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how well it turned out!

They slowly graded our subfloors upwards until they met the tile with a schluter strip. We don’t have carpet but I’ve seen it done with all types of flooring now, including carpet!

Say goodbye to awkward gaps and hello to a flawless transition between spaces!

Lauren Syrowik on Instagram: "You don’t have the accept bumpy transition strips! Try metal @schlutersystemsna transition strips! YA’LL, there is ALWAYS another way. These metal strips come in a variety of colors, and allow for a smooth transition between different flooring materials! If you are building, the builder should be able to accommodate this by adjusting your subfloor. If you are renovating, they may need to gradually adjust the subfloor to allow for the different flooring materials to meet evenly. Worth it. I love it for the clean transition. Mat loves it because there is no tripping hazard! #flooring #constructionadvice #newhome #newbuild #interiors" Floor Change Transition, Transitioning Flooring Between Rooms, Wood Transitions Between Rooms, Transition Strip Ideas Floors, Lvp To Tile Transition, Transition Flooring Between Rooms, Tile Transition To Wood, Flooring Transition Ideas Open Concept, Brick To Wood Floor Transition
