woodlark®  •  ashley on Instagram: "Make your own flower press to preserve your favorite summer blooms! 🌼 Pressing flowers in a traditional wooden press is one of my favorite methods, so I made Elliot his own press using scrap pieces of hardwood leftover from other projects and brass hardware. The best paper to use is one that will absorb moisture and does not have texture, such as printer paper. The process can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on the size and thickness of your flowers. Have fun experimenting! Materials:
2 pieces of wood cut to the same size, flat head machine screws, wing nuts, washers, printer paper, cardboard, drill, forstner bit (that matches the size of the Plant Press, Pressing Flowers, Flower Pressing, Natural Dye Fabric, Pressed Flower Crafts, Flower Press, Wood Cut, Flat Head, Printer Paper
