NeuroFit Kids | Bianca Mendonça, PT, DPT, PCS, CLC| Carlsbad, CA on Instagram: "A few tips and considerations ✅ note size of ball here. The larger the exercise ball, the more stability provided for the child. A smaller ball was not the right fit for this little one. Be mindful of height as we do want the trunk and shoulder girdle muscles to be active ✅child should have already started some level of side-stepping with support of arms (cruising) or practice of lateral weight shifting as tolerated before progressing forward. ✅ If child is not ready for this, consider starting with pre-walking exercises using a therapy ball instead (go to my profile and easily find my reel on that!) ___ Hi 👋 I’m a board-certified pediatric doctor of physical therapy who’s obsessed with tiny humans and all Peds Physical Therapy, Therapy Ball Exercises, Baby Head Shape, Walking Exercises, Pediatric Doctor, Pediatric Physical Therapy Activities, Developmental Activities, Therapy Fun, Pediatric Pt

BeKids Pediatric Therapy on Instagram: "So the kids had no school today because it was too cold. (I don’t remember having days off for that as a child 🤷🏻‍♀️) Anyway, so we put the kids to work! The first video is a great vestibular exercise and works on strength as well. Seriously I tried this the other day and I almost puked. I guess I need to do it more! Hahaha. The next video is a great core strengthening exercises. This little one is a gymnast and already has a pretty strong core. You can have your kids do this knees down if they aren’t strong enough! #pediatricphysicaltherapy #pediatricphysio #bekidspt #grossmotordevelopment #motordevelopment #newmom #milestones #milestonedevelopment #babydevelopment #physicaltherapystudent #pediatricphysicaltherapystudent #physicaltherapyschool Pediatric Therapy Gym, Core Strengthening Exercises For Kids, Vestibular Activities Kids, Vestibular Activities, Physical Therapy School, Pediatric Pt, Physical Therapy Student, Pediatric Physical Therapy, Core Strengthening
