Hand thrown pottery

Everything tastes better in hand thrown, artisan created serveware and this versatile tureen is both oven and microwave safe. This stoneware tureen has a neutral speckled glaze, typical for studio pottery of its era, on an elevated globular body. Hand thrown in my UK ceramics studio, and carved with elegant vertical grooves. Made from a lovely flecked stoneware clay, and glazed in a satin oatmeal glaze. 17cm tall and fully functional.
