I bought these gorgeous natural curtains from @dunelmuk and gave them a little glow up with some beautiful red wavy trim. The wallpaper in this room is quite bold, so I didn’t feel patterned curtains would quite work. And plain curtains just aren’t going to cut it for me! I saw some gorgeous curtains online with a fun wavy trim - but they obviously cost a fortune. For £30, I bought enough trim to go down both edges of each curtain, with some left over for tie backs. Top tip: if you buy curtains too long for your space, you can cut off the excess, hem them, and use the cut off fabric to make tie backs. That’s what I’ve done here and I think it just finishes it off nicely. Normally I’d have sewn Curtains Too Long, Patterned Curtains, Natural Curtains, Renovation Diy, Plain Curtains, Buy Curtains, Long Curtains, Curtain Patterns, The Wallpaper

Our bi fold doors were one of the first things we decided to put in our entrance hall. There was a single door here initially with views of the garden and we had a vision of making the garden view have more of an impact. The intention was to always have some curtains/ sheers here so we were thinking of ways to hide the tracks. Ideally it would have been great to conceal them behind the coving but the coving we went for it didn’t have the depth to do this. We used a piece of MDF, painted it and honestly it’s such a simple thing but a lovely way to hide the track.
