Preschool Vibes on Instagram: "Explore our engaging Five Senses activities in this week's large group lessons! For smell, we use jars with scented items like jelly and coffee, passing them around to match smells to their corresponding cards. In our touch activity, students remove their shoes to feel different materials in sensory bins and write the letter of the week in shaving cream. Hearing is enhanced with a Heggerty ears-only game and a fun "guess the sound" YouTube video. Taste tests include sour lemons, salty pretzels, sweet chocolate, and bitter cocoa. For sight, we play "I Spy" with letter O, using magnetic bingo chips to spot and mark it. To end the unit, we'll make popcorn, engaging all senses as we watch, hear, smell, and taste it popping!"
