NYC - Designers' Heaven (Group Board)

Looking for suggestions for my next trip into NYC. I like all things visual: home furnishings, artwork, clothing, vintage, hotel lobbies, window/store displays, great food presentation, charming bookstores, unusual architecture - anything to get my visual juices flowing.... (Please see my other NYC board for places I HAVE been already). What should I see that I can't find in another part of the country?
