Carter's Baptism

This very handsome boy was baptised back in September. He had a lot of friends and family there to supoort him. He was baptised by his dad and comfirmed by his Poppi. Grandma Webster and Grandma Loni  both spoke for his program. It was a very special day for Carter . I am so proud of his decision to baptised and am so grateful for all the right choices he makes everyday.

All About Carter

That's what the last few months have been about. Carter had a busy and exciting summer. It started with his birthday in July, the Sin City Rumble in Las Vegas, and then his baptism in September.

Carter loves his summer birthday. We had family over for a swimming party and Gronni and Poppi's Pool.

He opened lots of presents.

and blew the candles out on the cake...

or at least tried.

Dang trick candles.

In August we headed to Vegas for a karate tournament. It was a lot of fun and nice to enjoy some Carter time. Grandpa Webster came from Hawaii to support and Hollie and Tyler came along too.
We did some shopping and it was hot!!! We hung out by the misters while Daddy took his time shopping.

Carter went to the top of the Stratosphere. He talked Dan into paying for one ride, The Big Shot. When he got up there it was a little scarier than he thought and almost chickened out. But there were lots of people up there talking him into and some influence from cute girls got him on there. The kid has some guts! I didn't even want to go up there.

This was the second day of shopping. He got a little bored so he started playing manequinn. He got a kick out of the looks on peoples' faces.

Carter competed in three events. His first was creative weapons. Carter worked so hard to get all his forms learned. He did all three in less than a month and nailed every move.

Good thing Grandpa was there to give him a lift.

His second event was his creative kata to music.

He gets so intense.

Tyler was jealous of the flexibilty of these kids. He was showing off his moves too.

Just making sure he's awake.

His last even was his traditional form.

Carter didn't place in this competition but it was a lot of fun to go a bigger competition and it's great experience for him. He's now preparing for another competition coming up in a few weeks. It has been really fun watching Carter learn karate in the last 2 1/2 years. He works really hard every week and really loves it!

July 4th

July 4th is always a fun holiday. We went to the overcrowded Kaysville parade. The kids look forward to it. Then we did some swimming in Poppi's pool and went to the Layton fireworks. Apparently I only took pictures at the parade.

Allen, Gramma Loni, and Poppi

Anxiously waiting for the parade to make its way down the street.

Hunter

Tony so excited to be there!

Cute Jadie Bug with Poppi!

Another Past Due Update

I'm only behind by like 6 months! So I'll do my best at updating but I know we've done a lot more then all this.

Bailey had her little winter recital back in January. It was fun to see her dance.

She aslso had her tumbling show in January. These are her fun tumbling friends. I think they just gigled the whole time.

Bailey also had her 5th birthday. I can't believe my baby is 5!!! She's five and ready for kindergarten.
Funny story! We had been talking about kindergarten shots for like a year and she was ready because she gets the shots she gets to go to school. So we go to her dr apt and they check her eyes then prick her finger. You'd think they were killing her. So after awhile her little finger bleeds through one bandaid. She's standing in front of me while I'm opening another bandaid just staring at her finger. Next thing I know she is falling to the ground. She passed out! This poor little girl can't stand blood just like her mom. The worst part was, she hadn't even got her shots yet!

Carter has been very consumed with karate. He's totally loving it! He had a competition in March and came home with a 3rd place trophy and a 2nd place trophy. He was pretty excited.

A little pep talk from Daddy.

In March, Amy, Zac and the boys came out for a visit. (Can you believe all these crazy kids?) It's always fun and a surpising to see how much Tim and Tyson have grown up. This picture was just taken but already outdated!
We had to get a sisters pic. I love all these beautiful girls. We have way too much fun together.

Carter finished first grade! He amazes me. I'm so proud of how well he did. He is an excellent reader and a very compassionate little boy.

He prepared for his program for so long and couldn't wait for me to see it.

Did I mention karate? He also belt tested a few months ago. He went from his yellow belt to his orange belt. Another proud moment for a mom. There were about 60 people testing that day, one of the biggest belt tests they'd had,  and Carter's nerves really got to him. Anxiety set in and he was ready to go home. But after a little pep talk from his Senseis he pushed through...

did his best...

looked awesome doing it...

and succeeded!

He is now preparing for a competion in Las Vegas next month. We are all excited!

Bailey did more tumbling!

Cute tumbling hair. These girls became the best of friends!

The tumbling girls again.

She looked so dang cute at her dance rehearsal this spring.

Bailey can be so shy but loves the stage!

Another little friend from church.

Well, that's it for now. I hope I can be better about blogging. We will have plenty more to blog about in the next few months. Because can you believe this cute little baby will be 8?!?!?!

It blows my mind but have loved watching him grow!
