Object history Der goldene Bach steht redend für den Ortsnamen. Die Krone erinnert an die einstige Zugehörigkeit des Ortes zum Gebiet des fränkischen Königsgutes. Das sechsspeichige Rad weist auf die Herrschaft von Kurmainz über dieses Gebiet. Die Farben Gold und Rot sind dem Wappen der Grafen von Rieneck entnommen, die bis zu ihrem Aussterben 1559 die Vogtei Goldbach innehatten.
