English: Shoreline near Quarr Abbey Having been sand near Ryde, mud near Binstead, the consistency of the beach changes again in this square becoming a firmer shingle and mud mixture allowing access right up to the sea. The ferry from Portsmouth is heading for Wotton Creek and the car ferry terminal at Fishbourne whilst beyond it is Osborne Bay and the headland north east of Cowes. |
