Deutsch: Nächtlicher Panoramablick auf die Shamakhi Moschee, Aserbaidschan. Die Moschee wurde 743 gebaut und wird als die erste im Kaukasus nach der Freitagsmoschee von Derbent (9 Jahre zuvor gebaut) betrachtet. Sie wurde während der Herrschaft des Kalifats im Kaukasus und in Dagestan gebaut. Die Moschee erlitt in ihrer Geschichte umfangreiche Schäden aufgrund von Plünderungen, Erdbeben und Schlachten und wurde zuletzt im Jahr 2009 wieder aufgebaut.
