Livesey Museum erected 1890. As the first public library in Camberwell, this building was partially destroyed by enemy action 1940 and replaced 1966 by the nearby North Peckham Library. It was reconstructed as a museum and re-opened by Sir John Betjeman, Poet Laureate, 1974. |
