Eines von 4 als Gardehäuschen getarnte Eingänge zu den Fußtunneln zur Siegessäule in der Mitte des Großen Sterns, oft als die einzigen, verbliebenen Albert Speer Bauten in Berlin erwähnt – was nicht ganz stimmt; die Straßenleuchten entlang der Magistrale vom Brandenburger Tor bis Ernst-Reuther-Platz sind allesamt Nachbauten von einer vom Hitler-Architekt Speer entworfenen sog. Speer-Leuchte.
Die Bedürfnisanstalt an der Rückseite des Gebäudes ist eine sehr beliebte Klappe.

One of 4 entrances (disguised as a sentry houses) to the foot tunnels to the Victory Column in the middle of the Großer Stern, often touted as the only remaining Albert Speer buildings in Berlin – which is not entirely true; the street lights along the grand boulevard from the Brandenburg Gate to Ernst-Reuther-Platz are all copies of the so-called Speer-Leuchte (Speer lamp) designed by the Hitler architect Speer himself.
The public toilet at the back of the building is a very popular cottage.
