Description
Deutsch: Der Schäfersteinpfad ist ein historischer Grenzweg aus dem 15. Jahrhundert in der Stadt Frankfurt am Main. Der Pfad markierte seit dem Jahr 1448 die Grenze zweier als Viehweide genutzer bewaldeter Gebiete (Hutewald) im Frankfurter Stadtwald – die der Stadt Frankfurt und die der in Sachsenhausen ansässigen Kommende des Deutschen Ordens. Die zur Markierung aufgestellten Grenzsteine tragen auf der einen Seite ein spiegelverkehrtes Fraktur-F als Symbol für Frankfurt, auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite das Wappen des Deutschen Ordens mit Balkenkreuz. Das Foto zeigt einen der Grenzsteine mit Symbol des Deutschen Ordens. Standort: Kreuzung der Waldwege Welscher Weg/Oberschweinstiegschneise. Links im Hintergrund die Stempelstele W1 des GrünGürtel-Rundwanderweges
