Title
Early Medieval glass bead
Description
English: A glass bead. The bead is cylindrical, with a flat top and bottom and rounded sides. The centre has a circular perforation. The bead is of a green-blue colour. Similar beads are illustrated in West (1998, page 144; figs 28.4.1 - 28.4.11). The bead is likely to be Early Anglo-Saxon in date but this colour and form were in use over a considerable period of time.
