English: The Chiviola,
It is a musical instrument conceived, realized and played by Dario Cardelli. It is a cross between guitar and arc instrument (Viola/cello). It has six strings, and, A, D, G, B, E and is tuned as a guitar. It sounds either plucked (like a guitar/bass freetles) or with the headband. Eclectic tool that thanks to a piezo dedicated to the bridge, offers the possibility to obtain various tones and sounds that range in all the musical genres (eg: Arabic oud, guitar/bass Freetles, cello, viola, etc.). The sound is clean and definite, even inserting it directly into an amplifier/finale, but you can refine it with emulation of effects. The Chiviola is a new and modern musical instrument, the result of a ten-year elucubration, built entirely by hand, paying attention to the response of the ropes (chosen and dedicated) on the bow and pizzicato, then intonation and compromise of soft tension For easier and relaxed execution. Used Wood:Body-Lime Handle and jumper-maple Keyboard and Tailboard – Ebony (Mechanical/Keys or mechanical "self-locking" Piroli)Italiano: La CHIVIOLA,
