English: A famous Roman-Jewish specialty, this dish is common in restaurants in Rome, particularly in the Jewish Ghetto. Not to be confused with Carciofi alla Romana, another artichoke-based dish the city is famous for.
עברית: קרצ'ופי אלא ג'ודיאה היא מנה פופולרית ברומא, המזוהה עם הקהילה היהודית הותיקה בעיר. היא מוגשת במגוון מסעדות בעיר, אך בעיקר בגטו היהודי. הארטישוק מטוגן, כמעט בשלמותו, בשמן עמוק, ומוגש פריך. הארטישוק פופולרי במיוחד ברומא, ובעיר ניתן למצוא מנה נוספת - קרצ'ופי אלא רומנה - העשויה מארטישוק, אך בבישול ולא בטיגון. |
