Description |
Nederlands: Deze 4-snarige tokkelluit heeft een langwerpig houten klanklichaam waarover door middel van 19 houten pennen een vel gespannen is. De hals heeft geen frets. Het is een zg. 'binnenspies-luit': de hals loopt door het klanklichaam heen en de snaren zijn over een kam aan het uiteinde van de hals bevestigd. Hier bevindt zich tevens een klankgat. De snaren worden gestemd door middel van leren bandjes die om de hals bevestigd zijn.
Dit instrument wordt gebruikt door de 'griots', rondreizende geschiedsvertellers. |
