Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Stanford Stenson of Custer, S.D., carts a pair of bombs across the flight deck of nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) April 11, 1996. The bombs were being loaded onto an F/A-18C "Hornet" that was preparing to launch for a training run over a bombing range in Kuwait. Currently in the middle of a scheduled six-month deployment, the "Spirit of Freedom" has also supported Operation Decisive Endeavor in the Adriatic Sea.
