Description 151020-N-GG458-001 USS ARLINGTON, At Sea (Oct. 20, 2015) Portuguese Marines prepare for an amphibious beach landing from the amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) during Trident Juncture 2015. Trident Juncture is a NATO-led exercise designed to certify NATO response forces and develop interoperability among participating NATO and partner nations. Arlington, part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
