This file was initially tagged by Ellin Beltz as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: All over the internet This file was nominated as a copyright violation and sent to speedy because it was found all over the internet as stated above. Subsequently, the speedy tag was removed by Amitie 10g who has previously been warned not to remove tags. I am converting it to a Deletion Nomination for consensus. What country was this image created and what are the shapes around it? A similar image was found not to be copyrightable in the US File:JeetKuneDo.svg Rybkovich (talk) 22:58, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, you can "take stuff off the internet" as long as it doesn't have any threshold of creativity. The symbols shown here are > 1000 years old. No creativity whatsoever has gone into this particular instance of their depiction. So this image may very well not be copyrightable at all. I say "may be" because I am not sure. --Dbachmann (talk) 07:53, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
