I see no evidence to back the not-renewed copyright status. That tag is often abused, especially as the only readily-accessible renewal records for early works are books, and a page that gives first date for journal renewals. This is neither. Adam Cuerden (talk) 13:21, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
- Also File:Earhart and electra.jpeg, File:Mantz, Ae,Manning, Noonan.jpg, File:Amelia 1936.jpg. I've found two good images of Earhart that definitely are out of copyright ( http://www.loc.gov/pictures/item/hec2013010772/ http://www.loc.gov/pictures/item/2004671909/ ) and will work on them to "soften the blow", but we can't host images because they might be out of copyright, with no evidence of such.
