Keep: There are many interpretations of the Europ class insigna. They all vary a little bit. If you look at http://www.sailing.org/tools/documents/EUR2012CR300312-[12379].pdf you find on page 33 of the official class rules a simple drawing that is the basis. Both the interpretation on Wikipedia (this entry) as well as the one on the german side are suitable interpretations that will both be accepted by measurement during a worldchampionship.
