File:Yoshiya Nobuko.jpg
Hi there, I'm currently attempting to determine some information about File:Yoshiya Nobuko.jpg as part of an image review on a Featured Article candidacy. As the original uploader of the image 14 years ago (!) I was hoping you'd be able to help determine the author and publication date of the image, or at least point me in a direction where I might find it. Thanks! - I wish I could help, but it has been so long ago! I am aware that the photo is on display at the Yoshiya Nobuko Memorial Museum in Kamakura, Japan, and appears in https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/yoshiya-nobuko-memorial-museum. It can also be found in a book called 文学都市かまくら100人, published by the Kamakura Museum of Literature in 2005. They might be able to advise on the provenance of this photo. --MChew (talk) 14:19, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
FileImporter
Hi! I wrote to you earliger about FileImporter. It is now default for all autoconfirmed users. You just need to click the tab "Export to Wikimedia Commons" to move a file and confirm with ok. Using FileImporter is better than Commons Helper. --MGA73 (talk) 21:40, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- For example you added {{PD-self}} to File:Maebashi Houtouzan Kohun 2.jpg. You should NEVER add another license than the original. --MGA73 (talk) 21:42, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

|date={{ISO date|2021-07-12}} ({{Invalid Exif date}})

Categories for files from jawiki
Hi! Thanks for your good work moving files to Commons. I see that you are good at finding categories for the files. Many files are moved to Commons by other users (I moved some too) without categories. If you have some time to spare it would be great if you could pick a few files from Category:Unidentified subjects in Japan. --MGA73 (talk) 08:09, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
