== Commons Photographers User Group: first board election ==

Dear member of the Commons Photographers User Group,

In preparation of the first board election of our group, I invite you to take a look at the following page:

* [[Commons:Commons Photographers User Group/Board Elections 2021]]

and provide feedback. I've listed a number of positions for our first board and I've also outlined a possible timeline for the elections. The current plan is to open the self-nomination process up on November 15 and then have the election start on December 1.

I'm super excited to get this going and I'm very much looking forward to hearing from you. Please use [[Commons talk:Commons Photographers User Group/Board Elections 2021|this talk page]] for your thoughts.

I hope you're safe and well, and I wish you all the best! --[[User:Frank Schulenburg|Frank Schulenburg]] ([[User talk:Frank Schulenburg|{{int:Talkpagelinktext}}]]) 23:56, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Your most memorable shot of 2021

Happy New Year! As always at the beginning of the new year, I'm inviting you to share your most memorable shot of the past year. Which of your photos stood out in 2021? Which image created special memories that you'd like to share with others? On behalf of the Commons Photographers User Group I wish you, your family, and your friends all the best for 2022. Warmly, --Frank Schulenburg (talk) 03:25, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reopening of a deletion request closed in 2009

Hi, I stumbled upon a file that had previously been nominated for deletion but was kept, was later edited making changes that can't eve be explained as a different choice of stance on some linguistic point. At the time the reason it was kept seems to have been related to its use, which is now mostly incidental and replaceable, which I am willing to do. I go into the reasons on the talk page, but I wanted to give a heads up before nominating it for deletion again. (I don't nominate very often, and don't really know the proper etiquette, if there is one.) Cheers Naturalnumber (talk) 09:29, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
