This is a picture I made with GIMP using the spectral line map from the wikipedia article on Nitrogen..

Description
English: This image is based on the idea of molecular pincers used to hold an atom in place. The orbital traces are visible in the image to show the tracks where the electrons are most likely to be. I chose a MathJAX font, because the image context is scientific.
