Have you ever noticed that sometimes when you stop making efforts, a relationship or friendship ends? It is because it was never two-sided. It was just you, alone.

You may have a best friend from childhood whom you were inseparable with. You have thought that this would be your one true friend. As both of you grow into adulthood, your lives took different paths. But suddenly out of the blue, she just ghosted you. No explanation was given. She blocked you on social media, on the phone. That's when I realised what a true friend was. Someone who would always love you - the imperfect you, the confused you, the wrong you
