A wall mounted microwave above the stove in open upper cabinet shelves. I wanted to show how this turned out because I wasn't sure it would look good. Basically, I used the microwave wall mount included in the box and mounted the top through the shelf. 11.25" was literally just enough shelf to catch the top mounting screws. Hope this helps others considering something similar. A wall mounted microwave above the stove in open upper cabinet shelves. I wanted to show how this turned out because I wasn't sure it would look good. Basically, I used the microwave wall mount included in the box and mounted the top through the shelf. 11.25" was literally just enough shelf to catch the top mounting screws.
