For our first post, we explore the rise of street wear culture in Los Angeles, tracing its roots to the influence of hip-hop and urban culture in the 1990s. In future posts we hope to dig deeper into LA street wear culture, possibly by discussing our own influences and experiences in the scene, interviewing those in the industry and showcasing local street artists that inspire many LA street wear designers.
